Chipmunk

The chipmunk is a great smaller species of rodent that are on the menu of predatory fish.

They have to cross bodies of water in their daily lives. When they do, they have no natural defenses against a larger predator from below. Big fish won’t hesitate to violently strike these small mammals when they see them, and thanks to its realistic construction, they won’t hesitate to slam a Mausfish lure.

The biggest difference between the chipmunk and the mouse is the tail. The tail on the chipmunk is much larger and bushier than the mouse's small tail. One thing about chipmunks is the tail that is normally lifted out of the water when it swims. However when nearing exhaustion, the chipmunk will lower its tail to the water as a form of stabilizing support. Also, since the chipmunk is larger than the mouse, it is typically used to attract larger fish.

Chipmunk lure is best for trophy-sized Bass, Musky, Nothern and Salmon.
